Start by heading to your profile and tapping the icon with three horizontal lines. You can find it in the upper right corner of the screen.

Tap the Settings option represented by a gear icon. Next, select the Account option. Choose the Switch to professional account option and then tap the Continue button.

Some accounts will have the Switch to professional account option immediately listed under the Settings option. Both methods will show a list of business industries. 

Select the one that fits your business and then tap the Done button. Afterward, tap the OK button to confirm your choice. 

Choose the Business and the Next option. Then, input your contact details and hit the Next option again. Alternatively, you may select the Don’t use my contact info option to skip this step. 

You may also use this part of the process to link your IG business account to your brand’s

Finally, tap X on the top right corner to return to the profile page. An Instagram business account lets you track the number of visitors, likes, and comments your content receives.
