Taylor Swift becomes most streamed artist on Spotify with ‘Midnights’

Taylor Swift has broken two records with the release of her tenth album Midnights, becoming the most streamed artist on Spotify in a single day and Midnights becoming the most streamed album in a single day.

Since its release, Midnights has been met with widespread acclaim from music critics and fans alike. It has also broken multiple sales records, among them being: the largest vinyl sales week of the 21st century, the fastest-selling album since Swift’s Reputation (2017), and being the best-selling album of 2022 thus far.

Midnights has also become the most streamed album by a female artist on Spotify for four days in a row, accumulating roughly 500 million streams as of writing this article. It also occupies the entire top 15 list of streamed songs on the US Spotify chart.

The success of Midnights marks the latest of Swift’s notable accomplishments her illustrious career.

On Oct. 24, Swift premiered her music video for ‘Bejeweled’, following the Oct. 21 release for music video for lead track ‘Anti-Hero.’
