WASHINGTON, D.C. The Philippine Embassy represented the Asian region at a preview dinner held on 3 April 2018 at the Residence of the Peruvian Ambassador, in the lead-up to the 10th Embassy Chef Challenge, which will take place on 17 May at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

Chef Abie Sincioco Mateo, the Philippine Embassy’s bet in this year’s Challenge, served two appetizers during the preview dinner’s second course — heart of palm in herbed crepe pouch and chicken and pork adobo profiteroles.

The Embassies of Ghana (soup–first course), Haiti (cocktails and dessert), Liechtenstein (dessert cocktail) and Peru (main course) presented their countries’ unique dishes and drinks for the guests to sample.
