American man ridiculed for marrying Filipina ‘too hot’ for him

/ 09:07 AM October 17, 2022

An American man has become the subject of ridicule by thousands of commenters on TikTok who believe that his Filipina wife is too attractive for him.

Scott and Divine married in 2021 after connecting on Facebook in 2017 and dating for four years. After starting their shared TikTok account in 2021, the couple began receiving hundreds of comments insinuating that Divine only married Scott to live in America or because of his money.

Scott has a chronic autoimmune disease called scleroderma, which affects his appearance. Commenters have insulted Scott’s appearance, saying his wife is “too hot” for him. The couple has also admitted that the comments stating Divine is “just here for her green card” are hurtful.

Despite this, the pair have approached the comments in a light-hearted manner.
