INQUIRER.net columnist wins Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Award

Dr. Jose Mario Bautista Maximiano

A book by Dr. Jose Mario Bautista Maximiano, an INQUIRER.net columnist (Church Matters), won Best Book at the recent 16th Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards.

Dr. Maximiano’s, Catholic Social Teachings in CONTEMPORARY Philippine History: 500 YOC (1971-2021), Volume Three (Claretian, 2022), was declared the Best Book in Ministry 2022.

Meanwhile, a feature article he authored, “Philippine Church’s radical moves on climate emergency,” published by UCA News, has been nominated for the Catholic Mass Media Awards, set in November 2022.
