Filipinos in Edmonton, Canada to hold ‘Kultura’ festival
Edmonton, Canada’s 64,275-strong Filipino community will hold a festival called “Kultura” on Saturday, Sept. 17 in Heritage Amphitheatre at 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Filipino musical artists, cultural dances, a surprise celebrity, commercial booths and Filipino food will entertain an expected crowd of 50,000 in the two days. (Those who want to be on the program can use this application form.) The venue is the largest outdoor amphitheater in Canada.
