Kim Kardashian speaks about Pete Davidson in post-breakup interview

/ 10:11 AM September 08, 2022

Kim Kardashian talked about her recent life happenings, no-holds-barred, in her latest interview. Although the reality TV star and Pete Davidson have decided to call it quits, the former couple seems to have separated on good terms. Proof? Kim K still gushes over the comedian in this interview.

In a chat with Mel Ottenberg, the Editor-in-Chief of Interview, the SKIMS founder openly talked about her current rise in the fashion world. She also shared how busy she was with her law school schedule and some of her upcoming projects.

One of these projects includes a true crime podcast on Spotify with the title The System. Kardashian also commented on the topics of the US justice system, Roe v. Wade, and continuous global warming.

She shared her insights on the Supreme Court reversing women’s rights to abortion. “If a court can decide what a woman does with her body, then it also puts having children through surrogacy, and things that I have been through, in jeopardy. I always believed people should live their lives exactly how they want to. So it’s really scary to see all of this happening.”

And as one of the reasons why she took up law, she also commented on people getting unfairly imprisoned and pardoned. “Once I saw how broken the system is, I couldn’t stop. I have to help as many people as I can.”

Moving forward in the interview, they also tackled climate change. Kim Kardashian, 41, who had just purchased a private jet said, “I do what I can, but you have to pick and choose what really works for you in your life.”

After the discussion of those serious topics, it was surprising when Ottenberg switched to a lighter mood and asked Kardashian something. “I had some questions written down, but they seem boring now. Pete is really cute. We want to put him on the cover sometime. BDE.”

Kardashian just laughed and commented nothing.  Which prompted Ottenberg to say, “It’s just a prompt, really.”

At this point, Kardashian honestly answered, “He’s a cutie.” She is referring to her ex-boyfriend, SNL comedian, Pete Davidson. Expressing her well wishes for her ex, she added,  “He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up.”

Though neither party had disclosed any details about their recent split, sources said they parted ways in August after dating for nine months. Furthermore, Kardashian and Davidson are both living busy lives.

Kardashian is dominating the fashion world and managing her projects in LA. While Davidson is shooting for his comedy film ‘Wizards’ in Australia. A source told E! News that it’s all too much for the couple to handle.

The insider said that Kim and Pete have “a lot of love and respect for each other.” But they found that their demanding schedules and the long-distance “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
