Diabetes and knee research participants wanted
SAN FRANCISCO — A new pilot study is being conducted at the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. Participants are being sought to study the effect of type 2 diabetes on knee osteoarthritis.
Whether you have diabetes or not, if you are between 40-60 years old and are able to undergo a MRI of the knees, then you may be eligible for this research.
As a token of appreciation for your time and efforts, up to $75 will be paid for participants who are qualified to undergo the (free) knee MRI. More details can be found in the flyer – click here.
If any questions, please contact the study coordinator Joe Baal, at [email protected], or call 1 (661) 808-8963.
