A throng of supporters cheered Vice President Leni Robredo on her arrival Sunday at JFK International Airport in New York. She will attend the New York University graduation of her youngest daughter Jillian on May 18.

Supporters praised Robredo and her daughters for flying Economy on a Korean airline and not acting like VIP.

She won in he overseas voting in US northeast (10 states) under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Consulate in New York. Robredo won 7,750 votes against president-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s 5,796.
