Sentro Rizal Toronto of the Philippine Consulate in Toronto celebrated Philippine National Children’s Week with the launch of Children’s Corner in its official website on Friday, Feb. 4.

Children’s Corner features e-books from the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Additions to the e-book collection will be made regularly to encourage second and third generation overseas Filipinos, Filipino Canadians, and Canadians in general of all ages to read about Philippine literary works and Filipino myths, legends (alamat) and fables (pabula).

Storytelling sessions conducted by Consul Rodney Jonas L. Sumague, Consul Mary Grace V. Villamayor and Vice Consul Edward D. Chan, can be accessed in the Children’s Corner.
