NEW YORK — As anti-government protests rage on inside Iran, netizens are weighing in on everything from the demonstrators to what is perceived as selective media coverage in the U.S. of the demonstrations.

According to social media analytics firm Talkwalker, more than 2.8 million social posts have appeared in the past week, with the majority being posted over the past 72 hours.

President Trump continues to Tweet about the unrest with two of the top 10 social posts on Iran.  His Tweet is the second top trending social post with more than 204,000 engagements (likes or Retweets).  The President had two of the top 10 social posts on Iran. Author Armin Navadi was a top trending social poster, with 173 posts, including two in the top 10, reported Talkwalker, including this Twitter video showing  a woman in Iran who took off her Hijab to protest the mandatory Islamic dress code imposed on Iranian women. https://twitter.com/ArminNavabi/status/946848007479103488
