Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) tests positive for COVID
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) announced Sunday that she tested positive for COVID-19, making her the fourth congresswoman to do so this weekend.
Ocasio-office Cortez’s said in a statement Sunday that the congresswoman is experiencing symptoms and is recovering at home.
Some sources say she possibly got the virus from partying in Miami. Ocasio-Cortez was seen without a mask in a bar in Miami.

Reps. Jim Cooper (R-Tenn.), Sean Casten (D-Ill.), and Young Kim (R-Calif.) all announced on Saturday that they had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The United States is currently experiencing a winter surge of COVID-19 infections. According to data from Johns Hopkins University, the seven-day average for new cases in the country surpassed 700,000 for the first time this weekend.
