Holiday Monster Cookies
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups mixed red and green M&M’s
- Two large eggs and two egg yolks
- Two sticks or 1 cup unsalted butter (keep at room temperature)
- Place oven racks on the bottom third and top. Then preheat to 350 degrees F.
- Whip the baking powder, flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Mix it until equally combined. Mix the brown sugar, butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl. Beat the combined ingredients for 3 minutes on medium-high speed until fluffy and light using your electric mixer.
- Pour in the vanilla. Add the yolks 1 at a time and the eggs. Beat them well. Mix the flour mixture and beat at low speed until the dough forms.

- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 cup butter (softened)

- 2 tbsps milk (2%)
- 2-3 drops red food color (optional)
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1-1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- Blend confectioners’ sugar and butter in a small bowl until fluffy and light. Add in the extract. Using a separate bowl, whisk cornstarch and flour.
- Beat them until it turns into a creamy mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm enough to hold.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then, shape the dough into 1-inch balls. Arrange them 2 inches apart in an ungreased baking sheet.

- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 3/4 cup (6 oz) cream cheese
- Prepare a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small bowl, whisk the cream cheese with powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Put 20 teaspoons of cream cheese on the baking sheet. Freeze them for at least an hour or until frozen.
- When the cream cheese is solidly frozen, arrange two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt, then set aside.
- Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy for 1-2 minutes. Combine the egg yolk, egg, and vanilla extract.
