Widespread AWS outage affecting multiple internet services
User reports indicate that there are issues at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Because Amazon Web Services is down, there is a widespread outage of internet services.
Amazon Web Services provides a number of services for web-based applications. The most well-known services are Amazon S3, an online storage service, and EC2, a remote compute or cloud computing platform. Amazon.com, the online retailer, creates and operates Amazon Web Services.

The Amazon server farm network powers more services than you can imagine, but the most visible sign of trouble is that Twitch, the Amazon-owned live-streaming platform, is currently unavailable to the majority of us. “We are aware of several issues affecting Twitch services,” the company’s support account says in a tweet. There have also been reports of service outages for League of Legends, Valorant, DoorDash, Duo, Slack, and other services.
