There’s a new word circulating online about BadGal RiRi, Rihanna. While it’s like a ticking bomb waiting to explode, this is a pregnancy rumor everyone has been all ears recently.
Rihanna was recently declared a national hero in Barbados that has just gained its own republic. It lost its ties with the British monarchy.
However, it’s not what people are mainly concerned about. This is the question people online are abuzz – is Rihanna pregnant?
These rumors began following Rihanna’s appearance in Barbados. Fans shared pictures of Rihanna from the ceremony and started claiming she had a baby bump. Followers and fans began speculating after seeing the photos.

Moreover, the rumors had gone up to the next level when a verified Twitter account, The Academy tweeted, “Rihanna is pregnant with her first child with ASAP Rocky.” The tweet also has a picture of Rihanna and rapper ASAP Rocky together.
Although this tweet added fuel to the fire, the speculation wasn’t confirmed yet. Since 2013, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have been friends. It was when ASAP Rocky was part of RiRi’s Diamond Tour. She played the role of the love interest for the music video “Fashion Killa.”
Although the rapper dated Kendall Jenner in 2016, they broke up the next year. Rihanna was dating Saudi business mogul Hassan Jameel at that time. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky stayed friends all those years, dropping speculations of romance. Which was then confirmed in November 2020. This followed months after her break up with the businessman.

Confirmation or just speculations?
An unnamed source told US Weekly, “Rihanna and ASAP are hanging out and hooking up. They’re having fun and have always had chemistry.”
However, it was just in May 2021 that the two officially clarified their status. When Rocky labeled her “my lady” and “the love of my life”, it was set and clear.
