Call for Entries: Rizal digital art contest for overseas Filipino youth
SAN FRANCISCO – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco is inviting members of the Filipino community in the U.S. Pacific Northwest to join “RIZAL@160 Tularawan: Digital Art Contest for Overseas Filipino Youth.”
The contest is sponsored by the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in celebration of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 160th birth anniversary this year.
The digital contest is open to all Overseas Filipinos aged 18 to 35, who may wish to immerse in Rizal’s poetry and transform his literature to original creative digital artworks.
The winning entries will be announced this December, in time for the commemoration of the Month of Overseas Filipinos and the 125th anniversary of Rizal’s martyrdom.
The submission of entries is extended until 12 November 2021.
