The Photographic Guild of Nova Scotia named industrial engineer Antonio Solis the 2020-21 Photographer of the Year.

Founded in 1947, the Guild is one of the largest photographic clubs in Atlantic Canada, with over 150 members from beginners to world class photographers.

Solis, acclaimed nature photographer, teaches in the Industrial Engineering Technology program of Nova Scotia Community College. He specializes in operations and supply chain management, quality and process improvement, statistical analysis, facilities design, planning and scheduling, production systems and project management.

His manufacturing experience spanned over thirty years in six different countries.

A Science Management and Industrial Engineering graduate of Mapua Institute of Technology, Solis also finished the education diploma program at Nova Scotia Community College.
