Cecilia Bustamante hasn’t been heard from since she failed to show up for a Thanksgiving party last November, according to Chamblee, Georgia police.

SAN FRANCISCO – Members of the Filipino community in Dekalb County, Georgia told police they were worried over the unexplained November disappearance of a 42-year-old Filipina mother.

Cecilia Bustamante has been reported missing since November, when she failed to show up at a Thanksgiving celebration. Members of the Filipino American Association of Atlanta told the news media that they feared for her safety.

Chamblee, Georgia police have been searching for Bustamante since Dec. 2, after a call came in from Maryland that she did not show up for the celebration.

Police say Bustamante had recently moved to a home in Chamblee off Meadowwood Lane, but had previously lived in the Lindbergh area. She appears to have very few friends in the area.
