Fil-Am media exec among NAMIC diversity leadership awardees
LOS ANGELES – Myx TV General Manager Miguel Santos was named among the 10 emerging executives of color in 2017 the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Luminaries Class.
Santos oversees Myx TV network’s strategy, programming, production, marketing, ad sales and business development, with the goal of elevating the narratives of one of the most under-represented minority groups in media. Myx TV is owned and operated by ABS-CBN International.
The NAMIC award recognizes emerging business leaders of color in the media and entertainment industry for their career successes and commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace.
In partnership with Multichannel News, the 2017 Next Generation Leaders will be honored at the 31st Annual NAMIC Conference during the NAMIC Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. ET at the New York Marriott Marquis.
