A training webinar “Covid-19 Pandemic: Addressing Nurses’ Mental & Emotional Well-Being” will be hosted by the Philippine Nurses Association of Georgia (PNAGA) on Saturday, May 16 to provide an overview of the pandemic’s effects on nurses’ stress level and its common threats to their mental and emotional well-being.

The webinar instructor, Dr. Jeannie Estella Celestial, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Department of Mental Health in Vallejo, California. Her ancestral lineage is from Cebu and Cavite, Philippines.

Discussion will include the holistic well-being of nurses of Philippine descent and several coping skills to manage work-related stress. Registration is open to the first 100 nurses of Philippine descent who sign-up.
