FRANCISCO –The world premiere of ‘In the Belly of the Eagle: Man@ng Is Deity’ has officially been postponed.

To be staged by Kularts, the premier presenter of contemporary and tribal Pilipinx arts in the United States, it was originally scheduled for April 3-5, 2020 at ODC Theater and April 24-26, 2020 at Eastside Arts Alliance.

However, due to the current situation of the COVID19 pandemic, most of the Bay Area is in a “shelter in place” order and all public events are cancelled.

“We have spent an enormous amount of creative energy, resources and heart on this project.” said Artistic Director, Alleluia Panis.

“For now, all rehearsals are on hold until further notice. The postponement will impact all of the artists but most particularly those who juggle several art projects to make ends meet. We urge everyone to stay home and take these measures seriously.”

Kularts is now looking at how they can take their events online. Ticket buyers can opt to donate the ticket price to Kularts or get their money back by contacting the ODC Theater for San Francisco and Eastside Arts Alliance for the Oakland shows. More information and details can be found at www.kularts-sf.org.
