Filipino store in Edmonton, Canada robbed at gunpoint

EDMONTON, Alberta — Edmonton city police released images of three suspects in the armed robbery of a Filipino grocery store last week.

Three men held up at gunpoint the Kabayan Filipino Store in a strip mall on 42 Avenue and 66 Street in Mill Woods, just before 8 p.m. on  Oct. 15. Police said the three took cash from the store clerk then fled, according to CTV News.

One suspect is described by police as male with dark skin, wearing an Adidas hoodie with ‘Brothers Through Everything’ on the back. He was wearing Puma track pants with a blue stripe running down the leg.

The other two suspects are described as males with dark skin. Police said witnesses described the males as having an East Indian accent.
