Free Asian-specific US citizenship workshop offered

WASHINGTON, DC – A free citizenship application workshop will be hosted by the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center (APALRC) and Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC on Saturday, June 3 in Rockville, Maryland. It is being held in collaboration with the Montgomery County Office of Community Partnerships.
The goal of the workshop is to encourage and assist eligible green card holders to apply for naturalization. U.S. citizenship offers several rights and benefits including the ability to vote, easier international travel, and added security.
The APALRC legal team and trained multilingual (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese) volunteers will assist participants with completing naturalization applications. The resources and assistance offered at the workshop are free of charge and open to all.
