FilCom to hold 25th annual fiesta at Kapiolani Park, Honolulu
HONOLULU — The 25th Annual Filipino Fiesta, celebrating 25 years of color and culture, will be held by the Filipino Community (FilCom) Center Inc. on Saturday, May 6, at the Kapiolani Park grounds from 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m.
Dubbed the “5th Annual Flores de Mayo” and Filipino Fiesta Silver Jubilee, the jubilee theme ushers in the Fiesta, where various food and cultural booths will showcase Filipino traditions, arts and crafts.
Non-stop entertainment will be staged at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand, featuring local talents as well as performing artists from the mainland and television and movie personalities from the Philippines. These events are free and open to the public.
Attendees are expected from the local communities in all islands and over 100-plus Filipino community organizations.
