Chicago consulate to mail overseas voters ballots April 1-8

CHICAGO – The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago is mailing the ballot packets  for the  May 13 Philippine elections from April 1st to April 8thto overseas voters in the States of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Voters can expect to receive their ballot packet five (5) days from the date of its mailing. Each packet contains: 1) official ballot; 2) instructions to voters; 3) return envelope; and 4) paper seal.

The Consulate General will also publish on its website the list of Overseas Voters with corresponding dates when the ballot packets were mailed out to them. (Web:   www.chicagopcg.com)

Overseas voters from the abovementioned states should mail back their ballots to the Philippine Consulate General, 122 S. Michigan Ave., Suite 1600
Chicago, IL 60603 as soon as they are accomplished.

The ballots to be received at the Consulate General on or before the voting deadline on May  13, 2019, 5:00 AM US Central Time.  Counting will follow immediately by the Special Board of Election Inspectors at the Consulate General. Ballots received after this date will not be considered.
