Powerball jackpot reaches $169 million

LOS ANGELES – No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s (Feb. 18) drawing to $169 million.
One ticket with five matching numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold in Ohio, according to the Multi State Lottery Association, which conducts the game. Its owner will claim a $1 million prize.
No tickets were sold in California with five matching numbers.
Winning numbers
The numbers drawn Monday were 16, 18, 19, 56, 58 and the Powerball number was 6. The estimated Powerball jackpot was $154 million.
It was the 11th drawing since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.
The Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands. (CNS)
