Olivia Rodrigo says she’s ‘everywhere but the studio’

Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo might not be in the studio, but she’s certainly not hiding. The “Drivers License” hitmaker is out living her best life, and fans are both screaming and sobbing over it.
In a new Instagram post that quickly went viral, the Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter shared dreamy snapshots from her recent trip to Marrakech, Morocco, serving looks, vibes and just a little bit of chaos.
But it was her caption that made buzz: “everywhere but that damn studio,” she wrote, poking fun at her own vanishing act while fans eagerly await her third album.

The photos? Straight out of a Pinterest mood board. Rodrigo is seen posing in front of a rose wall, lounging by a sunlit pool in a flowy, colorful dress and wandering the souks like a Gen Z princess on a self-care sabbatical. She even tossed in a video of a snake charmer — because of course she did.
While some interpreted her absence from the recording studio as a sign that something is already brewing behind the scenes, others showered her with support. Fans quickly flooded the comments. One optimist wrote, “yes because the album is already DONE,” fueling the rumors that a third album is secretly locked and loaded.
Meanwhile, another fan dropped a dose of wholesome energy: “Very well deserved vacations, take ur time queen we’ll be here whenever you’re ready.”
And it’s not like she’s been slacking. Earlier this month, Rodrigo headlined the biggest concert of her career at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico, performing for an audience of around 65,000. It was a record-breaking stop for the Filipino American artist on tour.
While the Fil-Am princess may be “everywhere but that damn studio,” it’s clear she’s still in full control of her narrative, which is a little wanderlust, a little mystery and a whole lot of main character energy.
