The rift reportedly began in February, when the Grammy-award winning pop superstar found herself entangled in a legal feud between Lively and her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

“They have worked everything out. Blake apologized and they are talking again,” the source revealed. While Swift herself has remained silent publicly, her inner circle has hinted at a resolution behind closed doors.
Sources have shared that the tension reportedly escalated in February, when the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker chose to quietly step back from the Gossip Girl alum amid the legal drama.
Swift even skipped major events, such as the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary celebration, in part to avoid an uncomfortable encounter with Lively, according to insiders. Her absence didn’t go unnoticed, especially by fans who had grown accustomed to seeing the duo support each other both publicly and privately.
According to court documents cited in Baldoni’s lawsuit, the dispute intensified when Lively allegedly referenced Swift during a creative disagreement over a rooftop scene. Baldoni claimed that Lively used her close connection with Swift as leverage, warning him that she could “change her mind” about reaching out to the pop star for permission to use her 2020 track “My Tears Ricochet.”
