Blackpink star Lisa’s favorite karaoke song is a Taylor Swift classic

Fresh off the success of her first full-length studio album “Alter Ego,” Blackpink’s Lisa is riding high, and she’s letting fans in on some of her personal favorites – including her go-to karaoke song.
When asked about her top pick for a sing-along session in a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Lisa answered without hesitation: “For me, I’ll go for Taylor Swift. ‘You Belong With Me.’”
The Fearless hit is a fan-favorite, and Lisa’s choice speaks volumes about her admiration for the “Cruel Summer” Grammy award-winning artist during a candid conversation with her White Lotus co-star Tayme Thapthimthong.
For those who follow Lisa closely, it comes as no surprise. The Thai-born superstar is a self-proclaimed Swiftie, having attended Swift’s Eras Tour in 2024.
She even shared a memorable snapshot with the pop icon on Instagram, writing, “Had such a blast at The Eras Tour! Amazing performance @taylorswift.” It was a moment that thrilled fans of both artists.

Lisa has also expressed deep respect for Swift’s powerhouse performances. In an August interview with Elle, she marveled at Swift’s ability to hold an audience’s attention for hours, saying, “She’s incredible! Singing alone on a stage for three and a half hours is crazy… I maybe could do it with a lot of practice.”
Meanwhile, Lisa’s “Alter Ego” is making waves of its own. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart (March 15), selling 28,000 copies in the US within its first week, according to Luminate.
This achievement makes Lisa the second Blackpink member to top the chart, following Blackpink’s Rose’s “Rosie,” which claimed the No. 1 spot in December 2024.
She also recently made history as the first K-pop artist to perform at the Oscars. The global superstar dazzled at the 97th Academy Awards with a James Bond tribute.
