Very Important Pinoy Tour 2019 launched

WASHINGTON, D.C.– The 2019 Very Important Pinoy Tour (Ambassador’s Tour) will feature the top tourist destinations of Manila, Bataan, Clark and El Nido on July 14-21, 2019, the Philippine Embassy announced.

A flagship tourism project of the Philippine Embassy and Consulates General in the United States, the Philippine Department of Tourism, and Rajah Tours. As the 2019 VIP Tour, as in previous years, will feature top destinations and provide participants with “a memorable vacation experience in the Philippines at an affordable price,” Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel G. Romualdez said.

The Ambassador also emphasized the attractions of the 2019 VIP Tour that would appeal to families and young tourists.

The basic tour package, starting from US$1,110 for triple sharing (excluding international and domestic airfare), consists of a two-night accommodation with breakfast at the Hilton Manila, overnight accommodations with breakfast at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar and Clark Marriott Hotel, and a three-night accommodation with breakfast in hotel of choice between Seda Lio and Lio Estate Resorts in El Nido.

Also included in the package rate are hotel and airport transfers in the itinerary, services of tour guides, taxes and service charges, and the following tours and meals:

July 15           Wreath Laying at Rizal Park with Lunch at Malacanang

July 16           Tour of Bataan Peninsula with Lunch at a local restaurant and Barrio

Following the VIP tour is an optional three-day tour package entitled “Filgrimage 2019” geared mainly for millennials and Gen Zs, who will have the chance to visit Fort Santiago, Corregidor and an underprivileged community in Cavite for an immersion activity on July 22-24, 2019.

If participants also wish to join Filgrimage, the basic tour package for triple sharing that will include accommodations in Makati Shangri-La will be USD 1,850 instead of USD 1,110.
