Joining the “Drivers License” hitmaker in representing Filipino pride is Sophia Laforteza, a member of the global girl group Katseye, who will also be making their first appearance at the festival.
In an Instagram post, the group shared, “dream come true @lollapalooza we are performing at Lollapalooza 2025!! we can’t wait to share this moment with you, Chicago!”
The rising global pop idol, known for her commanding stage presence and being the leader of Katseye, will share the spotlight with her group as they continue to gain international momentum following their debut under HYBE x Geffen Records.
Lollapalooza, held annually in Chicago’s Grant Park since 2005, is one of the longest-running music festivals in the United States.
The 2025 edition will run from July 31 to Aug. 3, featuring a massive lineup of industry heavyweights. Alongside Rodrigo, headliners include international superstar Sabrina Carpenter, Twice, A$AP Rocky, Korn, Luke Combs, Gracie Abrams, Doechii, Rüfüs Du Sol and Tyler, the Creator.
Notably, K-pop girl group Twice, known for hits like “What is Love” and “Feel Special,” will make history as the first K-pop girl group to headline the festival.
Apart from its main Chicago event, Lollapalooza will also expand to its South American leg. Olivia Rodrigo is confirmed to perform at Lollapalooza Chile, scheduled from March 21 to 23 at Parque Bicentenario de Cerrillos in Santiago. The Chilean lineup will also feature artists such as Teddy Swims, Nathy Peluso, Benson Boone and Foster the People.
