“Get ready, Manila! Jo Koy is set to deliver non-stop laughs in an unforgettable night of comedy! More details soon!” the event organizer posted. Fans can visit www.livenation.ph or their social media accounts for further updates.

His last Philippine performance was in August 2022 as part of his “Funny Is Funny” world tour. That same year, his Hollywood film Easter Sunday had a red carpet premiere in Manila, highlighting his deep connection to his Filipino roots.

Beyond stand-up, Jo Koy has consistently emphasized the importance of increasing Filipino representation in Hollywood.

He has previously spoken about the difficulties of securing roles as a Filipino American, noting that opportunities are scarce and often nonexistent.

Instead of waiting for offers, he believes in pitching original stories and finding the right people willing to bring those ideas to life, especially in an industry where Filipinos are not the majority.

Determined to create more opportunities, Jo Koy has also expressed his interest in working behind the camera. He believes that for Filipinos to gain visibility, they must take the initiative to develop stories that industry leaders would support.

As Jo Koy prepares to take the Mall of Asia Arena stage once again, Filipino fans can expect a night of unfiltered humor, relatable stories – and, of course, his signature Filipino family anecdotes.
