LOS ANGELES – Filipino American Jonathan Eusebio’s directorial debut film “Love Hurts” has clinched the No. 3 spot at the North American box office, opening with $5.8 million.
The action comedy film, starring Oscar and Golden Globe winners Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose, will be featured at the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) in Los Angeles next month.
“Love Hurts” tells the story of Marvin Gable (Quan), a successful realtor whose past as a violent hitman haunts him when his former partner reveals that his brother is hunting him.
