“The Voice” Season 26 has reached its finale, and Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez has made history as the first Philippine-born contestant to break into the top 5.

A standout since his blind audition, the Tawag ng Tanghalan alumnus captured everyone with his performances throughout the season and left a lasting impression even before the winner was crowned.

The third placer in the special edition of Tawag ng Tanghalan delivered a well-deserved admiration during the blind audition.

Performing Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down,” made all four coaches – Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani – turn their chairs.

‘Power of Love’

During The Battles, Vasquez teamed up with fellow contestant Aliyah Khaylyn to perform the timeless ballad “The Power of Love.” His vocals forged through and earned him a spot to the next round. 

‘Crying’

In The Voice Playoffs, Vasquez delivered a heartfelt rendition of Roy Orbison’s classic hit “Crying.” Showcasing his rich, emotional tone and impeccable vocal control, the Filipino singer from Team Buble poured his soul into every note.

‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’

With great vocal control and emotions pouring out, Vasquez gave a soul-stirring version of “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me.” Every note seemed to carry the weight of his passion, eagerness and sincerity, as he gave his all to the performance.

‘If I Can Dream’

Vasquez dreamed big, and he turned that dream into reality. During “The Voice” live shows, he took the stage with“If I Can Dream,” a song that perfectly captured his journey and aspirations. Let that dream come true, right now!

‘A Million Dreams’

During the finale, Vasquez took the stage with “A Million Dreams,” hoping to become the first Filipino to win in “The Voice.” With his dynamic vocal range and authentic expression, he brought the song’s message of hope and ambition to life.

‘Unstoppable’

“Unstoppable” — Vasquez has proven time and again that he’s truly unstoppable. With each performance in the competition, he continues to defy expectations. No challenge seems too great for him, and his journey on “The Voice” is a nod to his unwavering spirit, love for music and incredible talent.
