Cebuana among select Louisiana State U leadership trainees

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — Media practitioner Rudynah “Dynah” Entera Capone, formerly of Cebu, was among 20 Louisiana State University employees chosen for the LEAD_LSU Leadership Program. She is graduating in May 2019 with a master’s in public administration.

Entera-Capone has 18 years of combined experience in public sector leadership, highway safety program management, community event planning, tri-media communications, marketing and public relations.

Entera-Capone was born and raised in Cebu City and came to Louisiana in 2009. Since then, she has been working in the transportation planning and management field. She now works as a Safety Initiatives Manager at the Louisiana Transportation Research Center, which is a collaborative effort between LSU and the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD).

The LEAD LSU Program called for nominations in January 2018. After a careful selection process wherein 65 applications were screened, she was selected to be among the 20 participants. Formerly known as “LEAD . . . Emerge”, Lead LSU is a leadership development program for high performing and emerging leaders at the university. The program focuses on building and enhancing leadership skills which support the University’s strategic objectives.
