Donita Rose proud of husband Felson Palad’s ALIW Awards nomination
Filipina actress Donita Rose, who is now based in the US, has every reason to beam with pride.
The TV and event host recently took to Instagram to share an exciting milestone for her husband, Filipino American singer Felson Palad. In the post, she announced that her husband has been nominated for the prestigious 37th ALIW Awards Best Filipino Artist Based Abroad in the male category.
“This has got to be one of the best highlights of my year!” Donita wrote in her post with a poster of her husband with the nomination.
She recounted how the news was relayed to her by her sister-in-law, expressing her gratitude for the recognition her husband has received.

According to the actress, Palad’s nomination is particularly meaningful, as he only began his singing career in the United States.
“This is such a big honor to be nominated especially because Felson only began his singing career here in the US,” she wrote.
“This is such a big honor to be nominated,” Donita continued. “Please keep this in your prayers for us. It would be an even bigger milestone for us if he wins.”
The ALIW Awards, now in its 37th year, continues to shine a spotlight on exceptional Filipino artists across various entertainment fields, both in the Philippines and overseas.
The upcoming awards night, scheduled for Dec. 18, will be a grand celebration of Filipino artists’ talent and achievements.
On Facebook, Palad shared the post of his wife, writing, “Praise God for this nomination. Thank you Aliw Awards for nominating me.”
For the uninitiated, Palad is a seasoned professional singer and emcee with over 15 years of experience, starting his career in college.
He is also a gospel recording artist and serves in the Ministry Development of Upper Room Presents in Mission Viejo, California. He has released two albums, out now on all digital streaming platforms.
