INC church in Seattle attacked with Molotov cocktails

SEATTLE —  In an apparent arson attempt, several Molotov cocktails were thrown at the Iglesia ni Cristo church in Rainier Valley during an evening service, the Seattle Fire Department reported.

The Molotov cocktails ignited at the front door of the church on 7100 42nd Avenue South, Seattle, Washingtonwhile 50 people were inside, according to Patch.com. No one was injured and the fire was quickly extinguished, a fire department spokesperson said.

A 911 caller reported seeing someone throw a bottle full of liquid at the church around 8 p.m. The fire damaged part of the church’s exterior.
