The holidays have always been so special to me,” she explained. “I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show — infusing my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me.”

The special will showcase songs from her EP, “fruitcake,” released in 2023, which already offers a playful nod to holiday traditions.

Fans can also look forward to the “Please Please Please” songsmith’s renditions of well-loved Christmas classics, plus some surprise duets and appearances from comedic guests.

Carpenter’s journey from Disney Channel actress to a celebrated singer-songwriter has captured a loyal fanbase, and this holiday special is another step in her ongoing evolution as a multi-talented performer.

Since 2014, she has been building her music career alongside her acting, making her a household name with a talent for both pop hits and on-screen charisma.

The 25-year-old singer recently scored six Grammy nominations. In a second video shared within the same post, the “Please, Please, Please” hitmaker is seen breaking down in tears upon hearing her sixth studio album, “Short n’ Sweet,” nominated for Album of the Year.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Carpenter wrote, “Us on the tour bus this morning… take a shot every time we scream like crazy. [Headphone warning!] This is the first year I’ve watched the livestream and actually heard my name! I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamt of this my whole life, so I’m filled with gratitude. Thank you, @recordingacademy.”
