Fil-Aussie singer grentperez drops latest single ‘Fuzzy Feeling’
Rising Filipino Australian star grentperez is ushering in a new chapter in his musical career with the release of his latest single and a new music video, “Fuzzy Feeling.”
During the premiere of the music video on YouTube, the “Us Without Me” singer shared his reactions on his stories and mentioned that he would be active in the YouTube comment section, saying, “Imma be in the comments.”
This refreshing track, which debuted on Fast Friends and AWAL, marks a significant evolution in the artist’s sound, showcasing his signature blend of smooth melodies and playful lyrics. He’s also collaborating with Dutch pop musician Benny Sings on this song
In his own words as shared by the press release, grentperez describes the song as “a simple, light-hearted track about someone who has no clue about the effect they have on you and your heart.”
He humorously adds that the song, initially inspired by his partner, also channels his deep-rooted passion for cars—a quirky detail that adds an endearing layer to the track.
On his Instagram, he shared a candid video of himself vibing to the song while walking beside a swimming pool, captioning it, “This is what having a fuzzy feeling does to me.” He also posted a workout routine, hanging while lip-syncing to the song and singing, “Later today’s the day,” before the official release of the new track.

Accompanying the single is a music video that amplifies the song’s charm. Featuring various renditions of grentperez, the video introduces fans to a fresh aesthetic while paying homage to his love for automobiles.
“Fuzzy Feeling” follows the success of grentperez’s recent duet with Filipino American artist Lyn Lapid, “Room For You.” This collaboration, an anthem for long-distance relationships, peaked at No. 35 on Spotify’s Viral 50. The track initially entered the charts at No. 40 on Aug. 12 and gained further traction after being featured in a social media live session by NewJeans’ Hanni, boosting its popularity even more.
Earlier this month, grentperez also had the honor of opening for Grammy-award-winning artist Laufey during the Australian leg of her 2024 world tour.
