Filipino American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo’s acclaimed sophomore album “GUTS” has officially turned one and its anniversary coincides with the announcement of the concert date of her Philippine tour.

On Sept. 8, the “Drivers License” hitmaker took to Instagram to celebrate the first anniversary of “GUTS.” With a message to her fans, Rodrigo reflected on the impact the album and her subsequent tour have had on her life.

In her Instagram post, Rodrigo shared a photo of herself joyfully playing in a green field with a rainbow arching above, capturing the essence of her celebratory mood.

Meanwhile, on Sept. 10 (PHT), just two days after the anniversary, Rodrigo announced that she will be heading to the Philippines on Oct. 5 to hold a show at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. Concert producer Live Nation has announced that tickets for the Manila Silver Star Show will be available for purchase starting this Saturday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m.

Moreover, tickets are priced at only P1,500, with proceeds supporting her Fund 4 Good, a global initiative dedicated to creating a fair and just future for women and girls.

The Grammy-award-winning artist continued to express her gratitude to the anniversary, saying, “I can hardly believe a year has flown by so quickly! Creating this album was one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. It allowed me to explore and understand many complex emotions, helping me to learn more about myself.”

Rodrigo also shared her excitement about the album tour, describing it as “the adventure of a lifetime.” She extended her heartfelt thanks to her fans, expressing her deep appreciation for their support.

“I feel incredibly grateful for all the love and encouragement you’ve shown me and this album throughout the year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and cheers to what’s ahead!!!”

With the US leg of the “GUTS” Tour complete, Rodrigo is now gearing up to launch the Asian leg, beginning on Sept. 15 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aside from Manila, the tour will span six other major cities, including Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney.
