Fil-Canadian pop-punk star Mico to hold special show in NYC
Filipino Canadian pop-punk artist Mico has been on a roll lately. After announcing his 2024 US tour, he will be staging a special show in New York.
This news comes on the heels of overwhelming demand from fans for a New York performance, which was not initially included in his “Cancel Your Plans” tour.
In a recent Instagram post, the “Cut My Hair” singer-songwriter shared his excitement about the upcoming show on Oct. 25 and how he heard his fans requests, writing, “NEW YORK !!! we saw your comments and we hear you…that’s why we’re gonna be doing a special show for you + anybody in the northeast that can make it out <3”

The Fil-Canadian singer also revealed that tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. ET, with early access available for fan club members. Interestingly, fans can sign up for a ticket reminder by messaging him “NYC” on Instagram.
Mico teased that the New York show will feature the debut of new songs and will be the final opportunity for fans to hear some of his classic tracks before he changes his setlist.
“Gonna be playing some new songs for the very first time at this show +++ this will be the last time you’ll be able to hear some classics and fan favorites before we change the setlist forever … you will NOT want to miss this concert,” he wrote.
Expressing his connection to the city, Toronto-based artist added, “[New York City] has always felt like a safe place for me and we’ve been super inspired by you to guide our vision for this next project… it means the world that we’ll be able to celebrate this new era with you guys.”
The special show in New York will only be for one night, held at LPR.
