In the teaser, SB19 member Stell teased fans by asking on the comments, “So sa tingin niyo anong song na to?”
This sparked a flurry of speculation among A’TINs, the group’s dedicated fanbase. While some fans are hoping for a soulful ballad and eagerly anticipating performances of fan-favorite tracks like “MAPA,” “Liham” and “Wag Mong Ikunot Ang Iyong Noo.”
This appearance follows the “Moonlight” hitmakers’ debut on “The First Take” on July 1, where they performed a stripped-down version of their global hit song “Gento.”
The video has since amassed over 2.3 million views as of writing, making SB19 the first Filipino act to grace the iconic platform. The quintet’s performance was the 449th episode of the show, which has previously featured notable K-pop groups like Stray Kids and (G)-IDLE.
For the uninitiated, “The First Take” is celebrated for its format, which features artists delivering one-take performances that highlight their raw vocal and musical talents. SB19’s first-ever performance on the channel was warmly received and gained praise from both fans and casual viewers.
Recently, the boy group, along with Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.Ap, organized an epic house party in their dance-pop track collaboration song “Ready” for its music video, released under Sony Music Entertainment.
Meanwhile, their other new song, “Moonlight,” is a collaboration with American music producer and DJ Ian Asher and Chinese artist Terry Zhong.
