Bianca Bustamante takes on new role as TV host ahead of British F4 debut
Filipino American racer Bianca Bustamante is set to make her debut in the ROKiT British F4 Championship at Zandvoort on July 13 and 14. As she prepares to hit the track, Bustamante recently showcased her versatility by stepping into a new role as a TV presenter.
The first Filipina McLaren driver took to Instagram to share a video reel capturing moments from her collaboration with Qatar Airways. In the reel, she expressed her excitement and nervousness about her new experience being on the other side.
“Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience being interviewed, but to be on the other side as a TV presenter was a totally different experience! I was really nervous not gonna lie,” the Fil-Am racing prodigy wrote.

She continued, “But the amazing people I met and spoke with, and being able to see Austria as well as the F1 Paddock from a completely different perspective was definitely a core memory for me.”
Bustamante expressed her gratitude to Qatar Airways and the production team for their support and patience. “Thank you @qatarairways for this unforgettable opportunity, and also the amazing production team for being so patient with me, I had so much fun!” she added.

In another Instagram post, Bustamante shared her excitement for the upcoming race with Hitech Grand Prix, captioning, “It’s race weeek! Really happy to be joining the @BritishF4 this weekend in Zandvoort with @HitechGP.”
She added, “It’s great to be returning to this track, really technical but a nice track to drive. The series has a really strong grid here with a lot of cars, so I will have to push hard to take a step forward.”
Bustamante shared that she recently met with the team in Silverstone for seat fit and sim work, and now she’s “feeling prepared and ready for the challenge ahead.”
The teen McLaren Development Driver’s participation in the ROKiT British F4 Championship will also help her prepare for the upcoming F1 Academy fourth round in August.
