Travis Kelce reflects on how he won Taylor Swift’s heart

In a lighthearted moment on their podcast “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” National Football League (NFL) star Travis Kelce opened up about his relationship with global pop sensation Taylor Swift.
During the April 10 episode, the NFL player confessed that he is still baffled by how he managed to win the heart of the record-breaking artist, especially considering her lack of interest in sports.
The athlete charmingly admitted, “I don’t know how I did it because she wasn’t into sports, so I don’t know how the f— I did it.”
The revelation came during a conversation with guest Lil Dicky, who noted the influx of new fans to the podcast following news of the couple’s relationship.
While Travis’ brother Jason acknowledged that the attention had not altered much for him, Travis expressed his enjoyment of the newfound spotlight, saying he’s having a blast in life.
Describing their romance as “the best thing ever,” the comedian mused, “I think there’s just something that makes everyone feel like the world is like high school, where your most popular pop star beloved musician somehow met your most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love and it’s just real. Anyone who hates on it is a bitter loser.”
Even though Lil Dicky tried to prompt Travis’ recollection of their first encounter, which happened when Travis mentioned Swift on a 2023 episode of New Heights – during which Travis hilariously confessed to attempting to discreetly pass (and failed) Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number at one of her Kansas City Eras Tour shows – the NFL star playfully interrupted the rapper-comedian’s train of thought.
Travis hilariously brushed it off, asserting, “No, 100 percent, I know exactly how I did it.”
The Grammy-award winning artist’s newfound interest in football has been evident, with her attendance at many of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs games throughout the season. Meanwhile, Travis has also been joining the “Cruel Summer” artist in some of her Eras tour stops.
