Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ smashes records on Disney+
Taylor Swift’s record-breaking spree seems to have no end in sight. With each new achievement, the list of her accolades grows longer, almost defying the confines of paper. And now, she’s set to add yet another milestone to her illustrious career.
In February 2024, the Grammy-award winning artist made her mark on Disney+ with her “The Eras Tour,” already hailed as the highest-grossing music tour in history, with five new songs added on the concert film.
A month later, her iconic presence knows no bounds as her latest triumph on Disney+ shatters records. The pop sensation’s concert film has surged to the forefront, securing its position as the No. 1 music film in Disney+ history, according to studio reports.

Over the weekend, Swifties flocked to Disney+ like doves, generating 4.6 million views. Not stopping there, they collectively clocked a whopping 16.2 million hours of viewing, immersing themselves in the 3.5-hour soundscape.
According to Deadline, what’s truly remarkable is that these monumental viewing figures were achieved in just three days, setting it apart from other Disney+ premieres, such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Elemental,” which benefited from a five-day tally only.
The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker’s “The Eras Tour” on Disney+ delivers not only her chart-topping hits but also introduces new renditions of fan favorite classics. Audiences were treated to the debut performances of fresh tracks like “Cardigan” alongside four intimate acoustic renditions: “Maroon,” “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” “You Are in Love,” and “I Can See You.”
On home turf, “The Eras Tour” reigns supreme, claiming the title of the highest-grossing concert film in domestic box office history with $180.7 million.
Distributed by AMC Theatres, the concert film also raked in $262 million worldwide, securing its place as the second highest-grossing concert film of all time, only trailing behind Sony’s Michael Jackson tribute, “This Is It,” which amassed $267 million.
