SZA added to list of Grammy performers
LOS ANGELES – SZA, who has nine nominations heading into Sunday’s 66th annual Grammy Awards, was added yesterday to the list of artists who will be performing during the ceremony.
SZA has a total of nine nominations, including nods in the top categories of album, song and record of the year, thanks to her album “SOS” and hit track “Kill Bill.”
Over the weekend, the Recording Academy announced that legendary singer Joni Mitchell will also perform at Sunday’s event in downtown Los Angeles. It will be her first-ever performance at the Grammys.
U2 will appear on the telecast in a live broadcast from Sphere in Las Vegas, where the band is engaged in a venue-opening residency. The U2 segment is also expected to include a “special awards presentation,” according to the Recording Academy.
Other artists scheduled to perform during the ceremony include Billy Joel, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, Luke Combs and Travis Scott.
The Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, will be held at Crypto.com Arena, broadcasting live at 5 p.m. Sunday on CBS and streaming live and on-demand on Paramount+. (CNS)
