Fil-Am twins from Arizona State set to boost Adamson’s UAAP bid
Culminating in a fifth-place finish with a 7-7 win-loss slate, Adamson University’s Soaring Falcons endured a tumultuous journey in Season 85. But their quest for revival has ignited a fervent determination to rise from the shadows.
Ready to soar to new heights and to fill graduating ace Jerom Lastimosa’s slot, Adamson University has recruited a pair of Filipino Americans set to redefine their game in the upcoming UAAP season.
Introducing the Ronzone twins, Cade and Austin, who are former hoopsters of Arizona State University’s Sun Devils, that are expected to inject a dose of US NCAA Division I experience into the Falcons’ nest for UAAP Season 87.
“The Ronzone twins, who are eligible for UAAP 87 [and 88], are expected to bolster the Soaring Falcons’ guard rotation and bring their experience from the US NCAA Division 1,” the university said in a Facebook post.
In a shared Instagram post, Austin conveyed their excitement, stating, “beyond grateful and excited to be playing for Adamson with my brother in season 87.”

No strangers to the limelight, the Ronzone twins once shared the hardwood with another Fil-American standout, Remy Martin, during their time at Arizona State. Their 23-year-old prowess showcased battles with none other than high-flying Houston Rocket Jalen Green in their high school days.
Cade, commanding as a point guard, and Austin, unyielding in the off-guard position, received a warm welcome from University President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario.

The twins are sons of international basketball agent Tony, who is also the handler of Filipino basketball sensation Kai Sotto.
As the Soaring Falcons embark on their redemption journey in UAAP Season 87, the addition of the Ronzone twins adds a dynamic layer to the team’s strategy.
