‘Here Lies Love’ ranks 5th among Entertainment Weekly’s best Broadway shows of 2023
The Broadway industry has felt the impact of the pandemic, resulting in a prolonged intermission as shows adhere to stringent health protocols.
While shows returned in 2021 and 2022, this year, the musical stage is unfurling its curtains in full swing, signaling a revival and resurgence of shows. On Dec. 14, Entertainment Weekly revealed their list of their 10 best Broadway shows this year, with “Here Lies Love” landing a spot.

The musical underwent a transformation for its Broadway debut. According to the entertainment platform, the traditional orchestra seating was replaced with a dance floor—a decision fueled by the aspiration to encapsulate the essence of the production’s party ambiance.
