This Pinoy food haven in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf will take you on a culinary ride with their new four-course menu. With this Filipino restaurant’s collaboration with Toyo Eatery offering a multi-course menu, it’s no surprise they’re cooking up something new for you.
Enter “Paubaya” (Leave it to the chef), their four-course tasting menu tailored for your needs or requests, whether it be a dietary food, or allergy restrictions, you’re welcome to customize your meal.

Abacá’s culinary master, Chef Francis Ang is all set to delight you with a four-course menu with all the Filipino goodness and in-season Californian ingredients.
“The Chef’s Tasting Menu is our way of showcasing what we think are the best dishes on the menu,” said Chef Ang in an interview.
“We also wanted our guests to leave full but not overly so, we’re excited for our guests to experience this new menu as we feel like it’s a great showcase of what we do,” he added.

Unleashing Filipino fusion through Abacá’s new menu
Their first course kicks off with Blue Fin Tuna Tartare, Bibingka with Sturgeon Caviar, and the all-time fave, lumpia.
Course two comes with grilled Monterey squid, Chicken Thigh Satti, and Grilled Broccolini soaked in Adobe Gastrique — a coastal and street food with Filipino flair relinquishing homemade food with a Californian Seafood freshness.

Off to the third course, they’ll be bringing you Wagyu Truffle Carpaccio with their legendary sisig fried rice, perfectly paired with local and international wines. Each course comes with these wines to further enhance the flavors.
And for the finale, a traditional apple pie that comes in an apple form and a Halo-Halo with its overflowing toppings encased in an elegant glass.
Furthermore, their cocktail offerings boast of Filipino-inspired concoctions such as the “Why You Always Laing?” and the restaurant-favorite ube colada.
