Jehovah’s Witnesses Tagalog convention set in New Jersey
BLACKWOOD, New Jersey – More than 1,100 Tagalog speakers from Midwestern and Eastern United States are expected at the 2018 “Maging Matapang” (Be Brave) regional convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 3 to 5 in Blackwood, New Jersey
Like before this convention will take place fully in Tagalog. Among the highlights will be discussions and interviews that reveal practical ways of fa cing present and the future challenges with courage. An encouraging discourse on Sunday morning is entitled “How Does Hope in Resurrection Provide Courage? A healing film showing on Sunday afternoon depicts why Jonah was scared of his order to escape.
The scheduled gathering is part of a series of over 400 conventions that will take place nationwide in various languages. Participation is free and no collections will be taken; the convention programs are supported by voluntary contributions.
